The use-ravion skill teaches AI coding agents how to use Ravion: installing the CLI, signing in, connecting an AWS account, generating and applying a project config file, running dry runs and approvals, shipping code through pipelines, and reading logs, metrics, and Terraform plans. Start here covers the workflow; this page covers the install paths. The skill lives in the public ravionhq/skills repository and follows the Agent Skills format.

Install paths

Pick whichever your agent supports.
Installs into every supported agent configured in the current project:
Agents that support skill discovery also find it through https://www.ravion.com/.well-known/agent-skills/index.json.

How the skill is structured

SKILL.md stays short so it costs the agent almost nothing to keep loaded. It carries the resource model, the deploy path, and the rules, then links to four reference files — setup.md, project-config.md, pipelines.md, and operations.md — that the agent reads only when the task needs them. An install ships those files next to SKILL.md; an agent working from the hosted URL fetches them from https://www.ravion.com/skills/use-ravion/. The skill also installs the Ravion Docs MCP server itself so it can search current documentation while it works. Its tools only appear after you restart the agent, so install it up front if you prefer:
